Chromium and gold plating

Chromium is a bluish-white metal, with minimal tendency to environmental oxidation, being tough, refractory and self-passivating.

Gold is a precious metal and has a very high ductility and low hardness.

Chrome plating and gold plating are used as a final finish, mainly for decorative purposes, and require nickel and/or copper underlayers.

At RECO we have a total of 2 plating lines, a manual one and an automatic one, both to work with rack processes.

The base materials that we plate are:
